Django Django, the four-piece art-rock band who might just be one of the best live bands of right now, premiere brand new track Beginning To Fade today on i-D. Taken from their forthcoming album, Born Under Saturn, the single will be also be released via 7" vinyl with an exclusive B-side, Sunken Dream.
"Jen (Lewandowski) and Sam (Levack) run a great wee gallery in Bethnal Green called French Riviera. I was in there chatting to Jen one day and she showed me some videos she'd been working on. We were talking about Nicholas Saunders and how his books had influenced us both. I loved the woozy otherworldly view of London, like unearthed, slowly decaying film footage or a rose tinted memory of the past. It seemed to really suit Beginning To Fade and they were excited by the idea of putting them together," the band tell us of their trippy, technicolor visuals.
