Pharrell Williams and Cara Delevingne team up for the second time under Chanel's fantasy umbrella, for Karl Lagerfeld's Métiers D'art Paris-Salzburg collection. The collection has a strong military feel with heavy greatcoats, gold brocade and embroidered flowers in the place of medals. Pharrell also sports khaki jodhpurs and some rather fetching lace-up forest green suede knee-highs; the start of a new kinky-boots-for-men trend?

Cara and Pharrell previously teamed-up late last year for a short film called Reincarnation, released just before the Métiers D'art Paris-Salzburg show. The film is based on an anecdote about Coco Chanel meeting a young elevator operator at an opulent hotel in Salzburg and being inspired to create the famous Chanel jacket design.

Chanel added the Métiers D'art collection to their show calendar in 2002, in order to showcase the work of artisans around the world who contribute their craftwork to Chanel collections. The Paris-Salzburg collection presents work from fine jewelers Desrues, feather specialists Lemarié and master boot maker Massaro, amongst others.
