Pixie Geldof

What do you do and why do you do it?
I make music, because I love everything about making music. I love that when you leave the studio you've created something that wasn't there before.

Describe yourself in five words...
I like tacos a lot.

What are you working on at the moment?
Writing my first record.

This is the 35th Birthday Issue of i-D, when did you last celebrate and what was the occasion?
The Oceana Fashions for the Future event that I hosted with the Oceana Junior Council. Oceana is a wonderful organisation working towards saving the world's oceans and I'm so lucky to be a part of it. That was a great day.

What excites you most about tomorrow?
Tomorrow is another day you have to fall in love with something new or rediscover something you already knew you loved, like tacos.

Tell us one thing that no one knows about you?
I'm a little freaked out by walnuts, it's unclear why but they're weird.

What's your party trick?
I actually don't have one, which is so disappointing!

Finish the sentence, 35 is the new...
Kale.

What do you do and why do you do it?
I'm a musician in the band Wolf Alice. I love writing songs, and performing is a big thrill for me.

How did you start your career?
I entered a local songwriting competition and won! That gave me the confidence that maybe I was quite good at this.

What was your big break?
Selling out Shepherd's Bush Empire was a biggy.

What are you working on at the moment?
Promoting our debut album, touring, practising, writing.

We're celebrating the 35th Birthday Issue of i-D, when did you last celebrate and what was the occasion?
Our bassist Theo's 23rd birthday by shooting fireworks off the roof of the Hawley Arms in Camden.

What excites you most about tomorrow?
New conversations, ideas and experiences.

Tell us one thing that no one knows about you.
I'm a gold medallist tin whistle player.

Secaina Hudson

What do you do and why?
I make music because it's the only hobby I've stuck to in the last decade.

How did you start your career?
I obtained a PC and FL Studios almost ten years ago and so it began.

What was your big break?
I don't think I've had a "big break" yet. I do like KitKats though.

What are you working on at the moment?
I've wrapped up my four track EP. All songs are written and produced by me.

This is the 35th Birthday Issue of i-D, when did you last celebrate and what did you celebrate?
My birthday a month ago and I got fucking wasted.

What excites you most about tomorrow?
The joy of learning something new.

Tell us one thing that no one knows about you?
I know how to tap dance (street cred out of the window).

What's your party trick?
The worm.

Finish the sentence, 35 is the new...
