Step inside the world of GAIKA. The Brixton born and raised vocalist, writer, film maker and visual artist is channelling Tricky and The Weeknd through the powerful visual influences of Basquiat. Quoting Skepta, Prince and Pete Tosh as further references might cause you to ever so slightly raise an eyebrow, but trust us, his genre defying psychedelic blend of gritty hip hop, dub, grime, dance hall and electronic soul will leave you wanting more. We're super excited to present something brand new from the illusive man himself.

Taken from Machine, his latest project, Heco journeys deeper into his dark world as a masked GAIKA explains "All I can see is dead youth sold cheap echoing through the streets and empty hoods. Why are we looking for the glory in other peoples fantasy when all is created in the image of death? I'm coming for them." Fans of Blue Daisy take note, this ones deep. Press play on this exclusive i-D premiere and then delve fully into the depths of Machine, about which GAIKA says "Shells in the dust that's payment."
