Last year, New York rapper DonMonique grabbed our attention with the high-impact track Pilates and we haven't been able to look away since. The 20-year old rapper just dropped her debut EP, Thirst Trap, and it delivers everything we'd hoped for and then some. From the killer cover art (featuring Don's best friend Chastity Simone) to the Danny Brown feature, Don's EP is all fire.

When i-D spoke with the New Yorker last month about her musical goals she was "just taking it day by day. I don't want to force anything. But I do want to work with, like, 50 Cent - you know, the OG dogs." That day might come sooner than she anticipated, because DonMonique's already managed to work with some impressive industry figures, with Stelios Phili handling all of Thirst Trap's production. He's the guys behind A$AP Ferg's Ferg Forever and some killer tracks from Ja-Rule, M.I.A and Danny Brown. Press play now.
