Before Ally Macrae opened Shop Kinobi she'd been living in London and working with Urban Outfitters. The experience had left her tired of fast fashion and keen to create a retailer that traded differently.

Shop Kinobi was originally launched in 2014 as an online store and an ode to slow fashion, thoughtful designs, and clothes that'll last. Now Ally is taking her vision into the physical world with her first pop up store on Fitzroy's Gertrude St.

Focusing on small runs, reworked secondhand, and designers new to Australia in store you can find labels like Pageant, Georgia AliceT.LC, Shaina Mote, and I Love Mr. Mittens.

The pop-up will stick around until the end of May, at 71 Gertrude Street Fitzroy.
