take a ride through l.a. with ariel pink in short film vagabond
Australian filmmaker Johann Rashid captures the artist from a rarely glimpsed perspective.

Ariel Pink effortlessly transports from onstage to onscreen in a new short film by Australian filmmaker Johann Rashid.
Vagabond stars Ariel Pink as a scattered but philosophical cab driver trawling the empty, gritty streets of LA one night. We follow him as he perpetually lights up cigarettes and picks up passengers such as his bass player Tim Koh and Friends front woman Samantha Urbani.
The film is one of a series created by Rashid for Melbourne music and arts festival happening this weekend, Sugar Mountain.
