In Marni Prisma, a year of celebrations for their 20th birthday, the Italian brand have hosted flower, rooftop and fruit markets from Milan to Bogotá. Now they're putting on an exhibition of bright, sculptural wooden works by Brazilian artist Véio, all occupying the spaces of the San Gregorio Abbey in Venice. Becoming Marni is the last big event to mark the brand's anniversary and is timed to coincide with the Biennale, which starts this Friday. Marni's creative director, Consuelo Castiglioni, first discovered Véio at a Paris group show and tracked him down to a small village in the North East of Brazil. Bold colour and patterns are hallmarks of both the artist and the fashion brand.
Becoming Marni, 8th May - 22nd November (11am - 8pm), Abbazia Di San Gregorio, Dorsoduro 172, Venezia
