Italian luxury fashion house Fendi have announced the opening of "a huge and playful pop-up store" in Tokyo's Ginza shopping district, in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the brand's presence in Japan.

"We are proud to introduce our unique pop-up store in Ginza. The Ginza area now is one of the most bustling and thriving shopping areas in the world. The culture of this city is deeply rooted in both respect for traditional craftsmanship, as well as passion for creativity and innovation, same values we share at Fendi," says Pietro Beccari, Chairman and CEO of Fendi.

The huge pop-up store spans three floors and will be the first destination in Japan to stock both Fendi's men's and women's collections, from high-end to ready-to-wear, as well as leather goods, shoes and accessories, with special launches and art projects happening in store.
