American songstress BANKS has shared the music video for Trainwreck, the electronic highlight of her sophomore album The Altar. Directed by fashion filmmaker Marie Schuller, the clip is thick with references to classic thrillers, from Hitchcock's The Birds to David Lynch's Mullholand Drive

Schuller herself offered a simpler reading of the clip when she shared a snippet on Instagram, promising "Domestic bliss from BANKS and her grown up triplets." A strange vision of bliss indeed.
