Life is hard enough as it is, without constantly worrying about your weight. Which is why body positive activist Tess Holliday is so inspirational. Plus size and proud, the size 26 model put two fat fingers up to society's body shaming bullshit when she launched the body positive campaign #effyourbeautystandards in 2013. So when she came across an Instagram account called Project Harpoon, which edits images of beautiful women like Tess, Ashley Graham, Melissa McCarthy, and Megan Trainor to make them thinner and uses hashtags like #SkinnyAcceptance and #thINNERBEAUTY (vom) naturally she was outraged. In fact, so was everybody else. "It's abominable that this [Facebook page] is using my image without permission to promote themselves," she said. "This kind of hit piece is exactly why I started #effyourbeautystandards. I am asking my followers to boycott this [page] and any others like it. Loving yourself is the most powerful message we all need to stand behind." To make matters worse, Project Harpoon's administrator has started calling out ''skinny haters'' for their ''hate speech'', whenever someone has a totally normal reaction of disgust. Selling itself as there to help "misguided women" reach their full potential, this might be one of the most offensive Instagram accounts of all time.
