The Brooklyn three-piece keep it surreal for the latest video off their standout debut album ‘Human Ceremony,' and announce a month-long North American tour.

Back in May, Julia Cumming shared a lols "oh shit" photo of herself shredding bass at a Sunflower Bean show, captioned: "when you realize you have [tour] dates booked until November." If it seems like the outstanding Brooklyn trio has already gigged their way across the globe, they have. According to Song Kick, Sunflower Bean has traveled close to 56,000 miles and played 98 concerts in 2016 alone (though secret shows and Saint Laurent after-party performances likely raises this number to well over 100).

So today's announcement that the band has somehow added a month-long North American tour to its impossibly packed schedule is surprising, but totally welcome news. And given this display of true rockstar stamina, it makes sense that the new music video the band has released alongside the tour dates is for "Come On," one of the especially high-energy psych-fuzz cuts on debut album Human Ceremony.

"'Come On' is a song about time, speed, and pressure," Sunflower Bean tells Pitchfork. "It's a good one to play live, which gave us the idea for the video… Something that could capture the vibe and energy of the song." Its video is directed by photographer and Julia's former Supercute! bandmate Ruby June, who also shot Human Ceremony's album cover. In addition to incorporating crazy colorful strobes, "Come On" features many surreal elements that have appeared in the band's prior visuals — like magnifying lenses, hourglasses, peacock feathers, and flowers. "We love [Ruby's] ideas and she also understands us as people, which is really important," the band says.

Sunflower Bean is back in Brooklyn on October 7. See when the band will be tearing up your town below.
