Presented as part of the Virgin Australia Melbourne Fashion Festival Cultural Program, the Australian Centre for the Moving Image, ACMI, has programmed a season of six fine fashion feature films, all exclusive Australian premieres. The films range from an insider look at the eternally innovative house of Balmain, a voyage to Naples to discover the finest in men's tailoring and a trip to the 'super' era with a look at what was fashionable in the 1990s. We're excited for the three feature debuts from fashion réalisateur, Loïc Prigent; Fashion in the 1990s, La mode des années 90, Dressed up for Summer 2015 Habillé(e)s pour printemps-été 2015 and The Balmain Style La Ligne Balmain. Each feature documentary is accompanied by a selection of short films selected from the 2015 VAMFF Cultural Program's Fashion Film Series competition.

ACMI and VAMFF Fashion on Film season will screen at ACMI from Saturday 21 February to Sunday 8 March 2015.
