does lindsay lohan wear pink on wednesdays?
She's writing an educational book on fashion and style, so maybe we'll find out soon.
If you are a human who has existed since 2004, you will recall that Lindsay Lohan received some of the most quoted fashion commandments in history, courtesy of three plastic teen queens lording over an equally plastic lunch table. Their rules were swift and severe: you can't wear a tank top two days in a row, you can only wear your hair in a ponytail once a week, you can only wear jeans or track pants on Fridays, and something about pink. Just over a decade later, Lohan is paying it forward and plans to release an educational book about fashion, style and travel.
According to Page Six, a newly London-based Lohan -- who is also the Coming of Age Issue's i-Con -- turned down numerous bids for a tell-all book. A source told the paper that the actress is "working on something related to style and fashion and her travels, an educational book." Although Lindsay's meditations will likely be far less harsh than transgressions of the Plastic dress code (we all know what happens to unauthorized wearers of white gold hoops), we're still curious about what she's learned from her experience in the fashion industry.
Back in 09, Lindsay served a season-long stint as the creative director of Ungaro while she was designing her own line of leggings, 6126. Earlier this year, she celebrated our 35th Birthday Issue at the Moschino Mansion with longtime friend Jeremy Scott.
Many questions remain, but here is my first: Lindsay, do you need an editor? Asking for a friend…
