This year's VAMFF Cultural Program is studded with varying celebrations of Australian fashion, including Jenny Kee's launch of her limited edition capsule collection of knitwear titled 'A New Beginning'.

The collection, in collaboration with Woolmark, delves into Kee's archives from the past 40 years and recreates her most iconic Australiana-referenced designs in high-quality cashmere wool. Remember that koala knit Princess Di wore? You can get a glimpse of the collection at the Pieces of Eight Gallery, which features in collaboration with paper artist Benja Harney. It's open now until March 28th and the collection drops in stores at the end of April.

Another reference to natural Australian beauty can be found at the Indigenous Fashion Runway presented by the Global Indigenous Management. Featured Indigenous designers will communicate their tribal cultures and raw, powerful values through their collections. The show takes place in Yarraville on March 8 and tickets can be purchased here.
