lindsay lohan might run for president
The UK’s Queen Elizabeth showed her how.
Sorry Kanye, we may just have another favourite for the US presidential election in 2020: flame haired goddess and Mean Girls legend Lindsay Lohan. La Lohan posted on Instagram in the early hours of this morning an image of herself at a fancy dinner, with the caption, "In #2020 I may run for president. Through ups and downs #YESWECAN".
Referencing her main pop culture rival, she added, "lets do this @kanyewest #truespirits", gave props to the incumbent, "thank your for inspiring us to be better people @barackobama" and hashtagged the hell out of it "#kanyewest2020 #lindsaylohanat35 #lindsaylohan2020 with #34yearsofEXPERIENCE #unitingWORLDnations", as well as @ing good causes, The Ali Forney Center, who provide services for LGBT homeless youth, Unicef, and someone who appears to be a photographer friend of hers, whose account is @savethesociety.
One might imagine that Pres. Lohan's first decree would be, "On Wednesdays, we wear pink!" (by law), but in fact she is taking the responsibility very seriously, commenting on another Instagram image, of herself and rival Kanye, "The first thing I would like to do as president of [US flag emoji] is take care of all of the children suffering in the world". Very admirable. Her inspiration? "#queenELIZABETH showed me how by having me in her country [UK flag emoji]". Hurray for Liz! And for us all!
Unfortunately, unless LiLo has been creative with her public age, she actually won't be able to run, because she won't be old enough -- candidates must be at least 35, and the now 29 year old will miss out by a pesky 12 months. Somebody's going in the burn book for this.
