The discussion of painting vs photography seems archaic when you bring in the internet.

Ry David Bradley's solo exhibition Border Security shows how in today's digital world, one can still find a sense of beauty in echoes and the untraceable. Bradley uses portrait images from the internet, which are then filtered and printed onto synthetic suede via a dye-transfer. After being stretched and sprayed, the result is an abstract shadow that could be numerous images.

Bradley's 'post-internet painting' can be found at the Tristian Koenig Gallery from February 5 - 28.
