enjoy a multi sensory experience at the kaleidoscopic turn
The Kaleidoscopic Turn opens at The National Gallery of Victoria. Showing a diverse range of mediums, the show is for science and art lovers alike.
Last month The National Gallery of Victoria merged pieces from their permanent collection and new acquisitions to create The Kaleidoscopic Turn—a celebration of colour, light, sound, movement and space. Crossing a wide range of media, the show pushes past the boundaries of tradition static art and features references to the 20th century Op Art movement.
Offering a multi sensory experience, the show sees artists playing with pattern, repetition, kinetic effects from the 60s, and optical illusions. Being both adult and kid friendly, it's a must see for science and art lovers a like.
The Kaleidoscope Turns will be on display at the National Gallery of Victoria in Melbourne from 20 March to 23 August 2015. Entry is free.
