Salute is the 19-year-old Brighton-based producer who has become of one the most exciting breakthrough producers of 2015. With beats that wouldn't seem out of place alongside the likes of Hudson Mohawke and Baauer, his latest offering comes in the form of the Gold Rush EP. The four-track release features dark wave duchess Abra, who lends her talents to the huge cut Colourblind. The plethora of influences Salute draws from can be heard across EP, with elements of hip hop, grime, synthwave and R&B shining through in his instrumentals. Tank rolls out with soft piano tones before huge horns and stomping drums drive through the track, cementing its versatility as both a rave anthem and headphone banger. Out now 37 Adventures, press play on the sound of Salute.
