nicola formichetti teams up with childhood hero oliviero toscani for new nicopanda campaign

Nicola Formichetti, Creative Director of Diesel, has released the Autumn/Winter campaign for his colourful streetwear label Nicopanda. For this campaign he enlisted Italian Photographer Oliviero Toscani — one of his childhood heroes. Toscani is best known for his work with United Colours of Benetton, which was either brilliant or controversial, depending on who you ask.

This campaign is less political. It's bright and joyous, true to the Nicopanda spirit Formichetti is nurturing. The label is as much about family as it is clothing: Nicola has a penchant for casting creatives, not models in his collection imagery. Last season, Artist Phillipa Horan, skater Anthony DeFalco and @cheekymaa starred. This campaign might also hold your next favourite painter, stylist, or slashie. Peek through it below.
