Grace Wales Bonner's Ebonics presentation at Fashion East in January was one of the highlights of LC:M. The young designer conjured up a whole new menswear world that referenced black representation in 19th century art, the Harlem Renaissance of the 1920s and black style from the 70s. Now she's bringing her work to the V&A with four free presentations as part of their upcoming Fashion in Motion on 10th April.

Wales Bonner was excited about the news, saying, "The V&A feels like the perfect space to present the hybridity in cultural representation, which I aim to explore through my work. I am really excited about opening up the conversation to a wider audience through Fashion in Motion and honoured to be part of the programme." Previous designers to show there include Jean Paul Gaultier, Erdem, Alexander McQueen, Vivienne Westwood and Yohji Yamamoto. But this time head down to check out Grace and thrill at all of her crushed velvet looks, funk-era lapels and Swarovski skull caps.
