In streetwear lore there are few things as sacred as the Supreme box logo. For years the iconic logo has been one of the most recognised, most sort after and most copied graphics in fashion. Perhaps the only thing more lusted after than the box logo is the brand’s flips and changes to said logo. That’s just one reason why the new Supreme and Commes des Garcon SHIRT® collab range, featuring a black and white box logo split in half is sure to be one of the year's hottest drops.
The split box logo appears on a tee and a hoodie for the Fall/Winter 2018. The collection also includes a wool lend overcoat, a custom Schott leather jacket, chore coat, sweaters, skate and painter pants and even a pair of Nike Air Force 1 Lows.
This collection marks the third time that Supreme and and Commes des Garcon SHIRT® have collaborated on a range. For Spring/Summer 17 the duo released a range with graphic eye motifs and a crumpled box logo. In 2015 the brand's got together for the first time to create a tartan heavy range.
If you're looking to get your hands on the collaboration you'd better set your alarms now. It's dropping September 13 online and in Supreme stores. It'll also be available from selected Dover Street Market locations. If you're in Japan however you’ll have to wait until September 15. And if the Nike Air Force 1 Low caught your eye you'll have to be a little more patient with it releasing sometime in November.
