designers' worlds: nasir mazhar feat. skepta

The latest episode of our Designers' Worlds series stars London streetwear prince Nasir Mazhar, who invited Chris Read and i-D out for the sexiest of spring/summer 15 after parties. In a season that tightened and heightened the brand's head-to-toe uniform, Nasir collaborated with Skepta for a bespoke soundtrack that boomed as his designs two-stepped beyond the catwalk and straight into its spiritual home, the club. Riding the grime great's flow as part of the Red Bull Catwalk Studio, Nasir's daydream of hyper reality bendy diva dived down the poles of Metropolis for a night that London Collections: Men had never seen. Capturing everything, we lurked in shadows and danced in the spotlight while the seedy East London institution blossomed into the designer's vision of paradise. As pole dancers, naked except for slithers of Nasir Mazhar logo, hovered over Skepta, Boy Better Know Crew, Jammer, D Double E and Novelist, the turnt dancefloor escaped inside the designer's mind. As reality kicks in and with Nasir as creative director, are you ready to join them?
