Praised for her maturity, Kati Nescher’s road to modelling was somewhat different from most girls on the catwalk. At 27, she was a mother when she walked her first show, and already worked as a Russian translator in Germany where she had moved from her native Russia. Born in Kostroma in 1984, Kati’s achievements count campaigns for Alexander Wang, Chanel, Fendi, Lacoste, Louis Vuitton, MaxMara, McQ and Tom Ford, proving that age really is just a number – even in the modelling business. Kati appeared in the Fall 12 issue of i-D.
