Born in 1980, Japanese hairstylist Teiji Utsumi has been cutting and snipping ever since he can remember. After a brief stint at a Tokyo salon, and having graduated from the Rutowa College of Beauty, in 2003 Teiji moved to London, dipdying the town red as he went. Spending the next three years at the London College of Fashion, there Teiji sharpened his skills, dusted his hairbrushes, and practiced the structural style he’s become known for. Now, from Burberry to Marc Jacobs, he’s worked with all the big names in fashion, assisting supercool stylists James Pecis and Neil Moodie.Expect big things and big hair, from Teiji.
