Often described as a hybrid of Peaches Geldof, Daryl Hannah and Caroline Flack, Alex grew up in the depths of woodland Worcestershire, always dreaming of the bright lights of city life. Four years in the maddest of Manchester were spent gaining a first class degree in Textiles and Fashion, becoming President of Lacrosse and getting elected as Vice President of the Students' Union. Having sold her soul to a digital advertising agency in 2011 to work on lager and pet food brands, she is back from her fashion hiatus working at the magazine she idolised growing up. A firm traditional modernist she likes the internet as much as the radio, a second hand coat as much as new pair of Nike Airs and a Motown classic as much as Rihanna. Pop culture fascinates her and nothing makes her happier than a cold can of diet coke, a real good rummage and a trip to the cinema on a Sunday afternoon.
