From the First Lady to Lady Gaga, Thom Browne has suited just about everybody since moving to the Big Apple, and taking a job as salesman in Giorgio Armani’s showroom in 1997. With no formal training, the one-time actor went on to work in the design and merchandising departments at Ralph Lauren before starting work on his self-named fashion house in 2001. With narrow lapels, cropped jackets and trousers the cornerstone of Thom’s shrunken signature, there is no mistaking a Thom Browne suit. His ankle-skimming trousers revolutionized menswear and redefined the wardrobe of the modern man. In January 2009, Browne unveiled his men’s collection for Moncler in Milan, where he is still designing today. Thom hates clutter, loves Italian food and his favourite place is home.

Favourite film? I have many, but Fellini’s ‘8 ½’ would be one of them.
Favourite record? Mahler’s 5th Symphony.
