Everything but grey, Louise signs up to that school of thought that says, ultimately, more is always more. More bright, more bold, more beautiful! She left her home in Scotland at 17 to study textiles in Glasgow, completed her BA in Textile Design at the prestigious Glasgow School of Art and graduated from Central Saint Martins in 2007. Louise was almost immediately snapped up by Lulu Kennedy’s non-profit initiative, Fashion East before making her London Fashion Week on-schedule debut for autumn/winter 2011. Her womenswear collections were a constant trip through her mesmerising mind; always a colourful daze of sequinned smileys and cartoon fairy-tales. She has collaborated with Pollini, Asos, Topshop and even Barbie. On hiatus from her own label since July 2013, Louise looks set to return for spring/summer 14, after partnering with old pal Lulu for Lulu & Co. It’s never a gloomy day when you’re wearing Louise Gray.
