The most exciting of-the moment make-up artist Lucia Pica is the inimitable Italian face painter working with the world’s most iconic fashion photographers. Born in Naples, in 1976, Lucia began her career in 2008, at POP Magazine, before moving to the runway to work on the House of Holland catwalk shows, a designer she continues to work with today. Decorating the world’s most beautiful women with bold tapestries of colour, contouring skin finishes and experimenting with contrasting textures, Lucia has perfected a look that pushes the boundaries of beauty and defies convention. Working with Willy Wanderperre, Paolo Roversi, Angelo Pennetta and shooting Cara, Lara, Kate and Mariacarla for Vogue, V, W, Purple and i-D, the Art Partner-signed Neapolitan covets a tough, masculine edge, inspired by strong women with personality and style.
