Sarah Richardson is a London-born stylist and Global Fashion Director of i-D. She started her career as a window dresser for Browns where she met super stylist Venetia Scott, whom she then assisted for a number of years thereafter. Sarah has been a regular contributor to i-D since the early days of her career and the magazine has always been a great source of inspiration from which she has been able to fully express and explore her ideas. She has collaborated with photographers across the board including Mert & Marcus, Richard Bush, Hedi Slimane, Willy Vandepere, Glen Luchford to name a few. She has consulted for several fashion houses and also worked on their advertising campaigns, from Calvin Klein to YSL. She currently lives in London with her husband, the photographer Richard Bush, their dog Blake and their three much-loved cats. The couple often collaborate, creating unique and visionary fashion stories such as Abbey Lee for The Dreams and Aspirations Issue, No. 315, Fall 2011 or the witches themed shoot with Cara Delevingne and Codie Young for The Alphabetical Issue, No. 323, Pre-Spring 2013. “I have to say looking back some of my favourite shoots have been for i-D,” Sarah fondly remembers.
