Born 1973 in Japan, fashion photographer Takay studied at the Visual Arts College in Osaka before moving to London to work as a photography assistant. He started shooting for i-D and The Face in 1998 and worked on campaigns for Levi's, Yves Saint Laurent and Armani. If he wasn’t a photographer, Takay thinks he would be an art director, architect or writer.
