Born in Los Angeles, Columbine Goldsmith grew up around the storytellers and mythmakers of Hollywood. Her first experience behind the camera was aged five on a family holiday to Mexico, where she was given a Nikon FG-20 by her cinematographer father. Columbine went on to assist photographers Patrick Demarchelier, Anthony Ward and Sebastian Kim. Now living between New York and LA, she’s the romantic photographer who captures supermodels, musicians and artists alike, often on film and Polaroid, for projects with titles such as Self Service, W, Vanity Fair and the New York Times. Columbine also makes short narrative films and vignettes.
