I don't mind. Take me to i-D.co anyway

Launched in 2004 by former Hollywood agent Scott Sternberg, Band of Outsiders started life as a menswear brand celebrating a cool, clean and contemporary American aesthetic before the womenswear line, ‘Boy’ followed in 2008. Scott's line of polo shirts, This Is Not a Polo Shirt, as well as a boat-shoe collaboration with Sperry Top-Sider, have cemented the company’s image as a bastion of indie-prepster cool. The approach to Band of Outsiders is as a vessel for an ever-growing archive of ideas and projects that draw from a strong, personal sense of nostalgia for Americana, balanced with a drive for innovation and quality across the entire porfolio. The campaign images exude a dreamy, whimsical feel every season; that effortless LA-cool is captured on vintage Polaroid film, embodied in all the stars you’ve ever wanted to hang out with, including Josh Brolin playing with toy soldiers on a Californian ranch. This alone should prove why being an Outsider has never seemed so alluring!
