No longer confined to hemp-wearing hippies, sustainable fashion is getting infinitely cooler, and a lot more luxurious. Cue British designer Christopher Raeburn. With trademark pieces like parkas made from de-commissioned parachutes and his re-appropriation of military fabrics, the Royal College of Art graduate has been saving the planet, recycling one fabric at a time. If he wasn’t a designer Christopher reckons he would be a wildlife photographer, he has a secret obsession with folding crisp packets into neat triangles before throwing them away, and his favourite place in the world is Tokyo.
