Born in Dublin in 1987, Alan Taylor graduated with a BA in Fashion from the National College of Art and Design, Dublin. He moved to London in 2008, where he worked with Simone Rocha for three seasons, before setting up his own label in 2011. Alan’s deconstructured suiting and dark, moody colour palette has been tearing up the London menswear scene ever since. Inspired by Madame Grés and men in kilts, the one time club night host was once asked to model by Hedi Slimane, but his career highlight so far is showing his spring/summer 14 collection at the MAN catwalk show. When he’s not toying with tweed, Alan can be found playing Mario Kart.
