London-based Anthony Stephinson is a Bowie-obsessed stylist, whose work first appeared in i-D in 2005 for The Nationality Issue. Back then, he was running twosee in Covent Garden, the cult, avant-garde boutique where, as buyer and creative director, he provided the launch platform for a number of designers, including Meadham Kirchhoff, Hannah Martin and JW Anderson. He went on to reintroduce JC de Castelbajac to the UK market and became firm friends with Jean-Charles, which led him to take over the running of JC de Castelbajac's flagship store on Conduit Street. In 2010, his lifelong friend Patrick Wolf asked him to work on the creative side of his new album, Lupercalia, and the accompanying campaign; as a result, he worked with Ryan McGinley on Patrick's promotional material. Since then, Anthony has focused purely on styling and his work as a creative consultant. Currently he consults for a number of brands, and contributes to several international fashion titles.
