I don't mind. Take me to i-D.co anyway

Moving with his family to New York at the tender age of ten, Italian-born photographer Mario Sorrenti began covering the walls of his New York studio with snapshots of his life. Several years later, that same shrine made the basis of Draw Blood for Proof, a photographic installation at the Andrew Roth Gallery. During the 90s, Mario shot to fame with a fragrance ad for Calvin Klein, featuring a very naked Kate Moss as the object of Obsession. From rock gods, and fellow crusties, Keith Richards and Iggy Pop, to a heavily pregnant Julia Restoin-Roitfeld on the cover of i-D, Mario’s career is truly prolific. In 2001, he published a book called The Machine, a photographic study of his younger brother and fellow photographer Davide, who passed away in 1997. Today he is inspired by “sex and the 70′s,” and continues to be a regular contributor to i-D.
