I don't mind. Take me to i-D.co anyway

Born in Germany, Timur Celikdag moved to London in 1999 to assist German photographer and filmmaker Norbert Schoerner, where he remained until 2002. The following year, Timur met i-D founder Terry Jones at the Festival International des Arts de la Mode, where he won the top photography prize with his ‘Istanbul’ portraits series. Timur’'s first contribution to i-D was a portrait of the musical duo MU on London Bridge. It was to spark a long-lasting relationship with i-D that continues to this day. If he wasn’t a photographer, Timur would seriously consider being a Jon Hamm lookalike. He is big on Turkish food, has a weird fetish for necks, and is constantly in his own world.
