Ger Tierney was born and raised on the Emerald Isle. After a stint conquering Dublin’s fashion scene, the bright lights came a-calling and she headed straight to NYC. On arriving in the big apple, Ger blagged a meeting with major artist agency, Streeters, with the sole intention of working with fellow gaelic gem, Alastair McKimm. Luck of the Irish shone bright and he took a chance on the bright-eyed, bushy-tailed Florence-a-like, asking her to assist him. It was Alastair who went on to introduce Ger to the i-D team in 2011, where she can now be found happily tapping away at her desk as Executive Fashion Editor. With home always in her heart, she still cites one of her proudest career moment as her appearance in Ireland’s RTE Guide Christmas Edition.
