You're so fine, Calvin Klein, Calvin Klein, you're so fine

In 1992 a young Kate Moss was pictured snuggling up to teen dream heartthrob Marky Mark in nothing but a pair of baggy jeans and some panties, emblazoned with the iconic Calvin Klein logo. And with that, 90s grunge and logomania was born. Fast-forward a decade and now Kate’s lil’ sister Lottie is stepping up to the bar, as the face of Calvin Klein Jeans x Mytheresa.com The Re-Issue Project. Reworking some of the most iconic 90s classics, the capsule collection, available exclusively online at mytheresa.com today, features everything from Kate’s boyfriend jeans to the high waisted skinnies worn by an even younger Brooke Shields. To celebrate all things Calvin Klein, we take a trip through the coolest CK ads of all time.

  • Obsession 1992

Before there was little Lottie, there was little Kate. Poster girl for grunged up teenage spirit, by 1992 Kate Moss had become the fashion world’s obsession. Fittingly, she was made the face of Calvin Klein’s covetous fragrance of the same name. Shot in black and white by her old flame Mario Sorrenti, it was the ad that had everyone wanting more. Never underestimate the power of Obsession.

Wouldn’t you want to live like this for eternity?

Shot by Richard Avedon, the commercials featured a young and dreamy Brooke bending her body in all sorts of acrobatic positions as she showed off her brand new high waisted skinnies. If you wanna be cool, you gotta bend it like Brooke.
