copenhagen new faces: boys

From its humble beginnings as a Viking fishing village founded in the 10th century, Copenhagen’s now renowned as one of the loveliest places to live in the world - especially if you’re a mermaid or a model scout. Its beautiful waterside streets are filled with beautiful people, so we asked Danish photographer Louise Damgaard to cast and photograph 10 of its freshest faces, starting with our top 5 new boys. Learn their favourite Danish phrases and listen to Gilli - the Danish rap Future.

    How were you scouted?
I was out shopping with my sister, and then two scouts from Unique asked me if I wanted to be a model.

What’s your favourite place to go out in Copenhagen?
Hive! I go there with my friends, and we have fun every time. It’s awesome.

If you were looking for love, where would you go?
    Nyhavn. It's beautiful

What’s your favourite song right now?

What’s your favourite place to go out in Copenhagen?
I don’t have a favourite place, but I don’t like places to be too fancy with too loud music and so on. I like small places where I can talk to my friends. Sometimes we go dancing though and when we do that the place is not so important as long as there is bad pop music.

If you were looking for love, where would you go?
Ha ha ha that is a cruel question because if I knew where to find love I Copenhagen I would have done it SOOO long ago. But I do not look for love - I take things as they come I guess. I don’t like to force love so I’m just patient…

Can you teach us your favourite Danish phrase?
“To store øl tak,” and that is just a way to order two large beers which I normally find very useful.

What’s your favourite song right now?
Banks - This Is What It Feels Like.

Can you teach us your favourite Danish phrase?
    “Skål!” Which means “cheers!”

What’s your favourite song right now?
Nicolas Jaar - Paper Trails. He’s coming to Roskilde Festival and I’m excited!

  • asmus harm, 17, student from fanø, signed to scoop models

    How were you scouted?
I was scouted while on a school trip to London. We were sitting at a cafe and an agent from Models 1 asked me if I might be interested in modelling. He suggested that I applied at Scoop Models when I came back and they liked what they saw.

Can you teach us your favourite Danish phrase?
“Udnyt dine muligheder.” It basically just means that you should use your opportunities, which is something that’s really relevant for me right now, as I’m working as a model.

What’s your favourite song right now?
Gilli - Penge Kommer Går and Future - I Be U.
