Rock your body, mic check 1, 2, 'cause it ain't a party til my crew run through. Shake some body, show me what you can do, our new guide to dance is waiting for you. Shot on the streets and rooftops of sunny LA, our A-Z of Dance shows you how to set hearts alight and clubs on fire. • b-girl boppin'

This little cutie is breakdancing prodigy, Bgirl Terra. At just 6 years old, spinning on her head appears to come naturally and winning competitions against the older kids is as easy as pie. When I was six years old I did 'baby ballet' which consisted of running around pretending to be a fairy. I will never be as cool as this girl and neither will you.

  • arabesque

Talking of ballet, Cali babe Morgan Quinn can be seen opening our A-Z of Dance with an incredibly impressive arabesque en pointe. The graceful move literally means 'in an Arabic fashion' as the body spirals like artwork and shows off just how flexible the dancer is.

  • pole magic

Nicole 'The Pole' Williams is the star is Rihanna’s Pour It Up video and the woman with super thighs. Watch her defy gravity in our A-Z as she works her way round that pole like nobody else can. Sometimes I need that romance, sometimes I need that pole dance.

  • i like the way you twerk it

No diggity! According to wikipedia, twerking is a type of dancing in which the dancer, usually a woman, shakes her hips in an up-and-down bouncing motion, causing the dancer's buttocks to shake, wobble and jiggle. Checking out Lady Luscious and Mizz Twerksum doing their thing, I couldn't have put it better myself.

  • Step up

If I learnt anything from Step Up and its many sequels, it is that "one step can change your world". Rick Owens certainly thought so when he sent a fierce step team down his spring/summer 14 runway and challenged casting norms. Putting the S in our dance alphabet today is the Soul Step team who show us how to dance to Le1f with serious attitude.
