balenciaga, the clue is in the detail

Why so serious Alexander Wang? This season saw Wang having some fun with his collection as glamazon's stalked the runway carrying their own shopping bags (only the most luxurious kind). Coats transformed models into luxurious hybrids of fur and woven lattices - everything held together with zips, trousers were cut perfectly straight but perfectly shaped (how do you do it Mr Wang?!) and shoulders were encrusted in sea-urchin-esque beads. This was a big collection but it's clear it's the small things that count...
