The fab 5 are back! Spice is nice for autumn/winter 14

Preaching girl power and forever friendships, the Spice Girls were the ultimate '90s role models and an incredible influence on both awkward pre-teens and fashion the world over. Having spent the weekend show-hopping, we noticed that there are still strong elements of Spice in London Fashion Week today. As we look to i-D cover stars Vicky B, Scary and the rest of their barbie girl gang, we welcome you to Spice World.

  • SPORTY

Hey you, always on the run (in your shimmery red Nasir Mazhar jogging pants). The spirit of everyone's favourite football-loving Mel was strong at at Nasir Mazhar's powerful show. With her crop top, full tracksuit and wedge trainers, we half expected the model to bust out a couple of backflips.

  • POSH

"It must be so hard for you, Victoria..." said Mel C in Spiceworld, The Movie. "I mean, having to decide whether to wear the little Gucci dress, the little Gucci dress, or... the little Gucci dress!" What a joker. Although it has since transpired that the LBD in question was in actual fact from Miss Selfridge and not Gucci, the artist formally known as Posh Spice is certainly still known for her love of the staple look. Here, Hollie May Saker is working it as one of Henry Holland's debauched debuntants.

  • GINGER

Unfortunately, so far at London Fashion Week there have been no union jack dresses. During her Spice days, however, sexy sexy Geri H was clearly a fan of both the colour red and showing off her assets. This look by London label Felder Felder would suit perfectly. 'Cause the lady is a vamp, she's a vixen not a tramp.

  • SCARY

She's got something new. She's a power girl of the 90's world and she knows just what to do. Mel B aka Scary Spice was always a bit mental. Louder than loud, her bold prints and big hair (as seen at LCF's graduate show) always got her noticed. Anybody else remember that her go-to look involved either catsuit or a bra? Well, according to google images, she's still big in the bra game. Wearing killer heels, cropped jeans and a printed bikini top, Sophia Webster's Dream Phone girl chanelled the Spice Girl in a big way.

  • BABY

On a sunny Sunday afternoon, imagine our surprise when we stumbled across Emma Bunton in Sophia Webster's bathtub! Taking a long, steamy bubble bath while listening to SPICE on her walkman, Baby kept her pigtails dry as she rested her precious little head on a pink pillow. After a busy morning sucking on lollypops and chatting to her mama/best friend, the super cute princess deserves a break. Sugar and spice and all things nice, that's what Baby's made of.
