King of the inner city skate park and outer city street, BMX-er Alex's talent has brought him round the world. From Croydon flat rails to Tel Aviv plazas he makes everything from nollies to big drops look like they're the easiest thing in the world. Type his name into YouTube. Watch. When did you first learn to ride a bike?
I was around 4... my cousins taught me how to cycle without stabilisers.
When did you first get into BMX-ing?
At around 12.
Where is the best place to ride?
I enjoy variety but my ideal spot at home is Clapham Common.
Where's the most exciting place BMX-ing has taken you?
I'm currently in Tokyo and I'm amazed at life here!
What's your favourite trick?
Grinding in general.
What's your worst injury due to riding?
I've been quite lucky! Just a fractured finger.

What would you be doing if you weren't doing what you're doing?
Something creative... theres no other way, arts, music, food who knows?
How does a typical day in the life of Alex Kennedy go?
Wake up, listen to music, get some drinks/smoothies on the go, maybe do some yoga then onto a BMX session. Make lunch/dinner and finish by socialising with friends. Maybe soak in a nice bath before drifting off into the dream world.

Multiple times, in love with life and the earth
What's the biggest change in BMX-ing since you started?
It was alot more freestyle in the past whereas now the different genres are more segregated.
What projects are you working on next?
Not too much in the pipeline but I would love to make a new video.
Where do you want to be in ten years time?
Settled down in the sun, growing vegetables and producing health/wellness living from my own creations and sharing good wealth/abundance.
